Hello Everyone,
I am writing to let you all know that our company will be sponsoring a booth at this year's "Art in the Park" festival in Watchung New Jersey. This is a fund raising event with all proceeds going to the Watchung Educational Foundation. Below is a description of the event. This festival has been put together by one of our customers and they had a great turn out last year! If you are free this Saturday, please come out and show your support!

The Watchung Educational Foundation, a volunteer-driven, community based, non-profit organization, announced plans today for its Second Annual Art in The Park Festival, A Journey through the Arts.  On Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 11:00AM to 5:00PM, on Mobus Field, the heart of downtown Watchung, New Jersey, a collection of fine artists including painters, photographers, jewelry makers and sculptors, will showcase and present their handcrafted works for sale with the beautiful setting of the Watchung Mountains as their backdrop.  Last year, over 50 vendors displayed their wares in addition to over a dozen local performers who conducted demonstrations, story readings and mini-classes.  In case of inclement weather that day, Art in the Park will be held at an alternative indoor location, Watchung's Middle School, Valley View.  The Watchung Educational Foundation is committed to assisting Watchung's Elementary and Middle Public Schools by independently financing curriculum enhancements through a grant process, and conducts various fundraising efforts throughout the year such as The Art In The Park project to support its mission.
The Foundation is seeking artisans and participants interested this year in selling or demonstrating their crafts during the Annual Art in The Park Celebration on April 25, 2009. Vendor contracts are available to be downloaded at the Watchung Educational Foundation's website www.wefund.org.  The deadline for completed contracts is April 1, 2009.  For further information, please contact Tina Kelly at (908) 822-9024 or Lisa Brown at (908) 561-9226.
Watchung Educational Foundation's Art In The Park Fundraising event will also include a variety of foods for purchase, an assortment of raffles, several musical performances as well as many hands-on activities and workshops for parents and their children.  Art In The Park is open to the general public with a suggested donation of $3.00 per person to attend this one-day festival.
The Watchung Educational Foundation is a community based, non-profit organization committed to assisting the Watchung Schools in providing a quality educational experience to all of students.  The Foundation raises money in order to fund innovative and creative projects that will enrich the curriculum and improve technology in the K-8 district.
