Daunno's creating new concepts for the "expanded cape."
The misconception that many people have is that there is very little that can be done with a cape code. In this design, we helped the homeowner construct 1,100 square feet of living space by building a barn style colonial rear off of this original Stirling New Jersey Cape cod. In doing so, we created a senior suite for the grand parent, a new master bedroom, 2 full baths, a new custom kitchen, and a rear sitting porch. We have also replaced the roof, installed a new 200 amp electric service, added a full HVAC system, installed all new Anderson 400 Series windows and added Cedar Reflections vinyl siding to the exterior of the home.
